| Comments | Contact the concierge or guest services (at the Village Centre Mall) to bring out a wheelchair designed to go over snow, but it is available at a first come first serve basis. You may also stop outside the Village Centre Mall to drop off and unload passengers but there is no long term parking available there. Handicap parking is available at the Central Mountain Check-In (ground centre of the VCM) and in the Happy Valley Day Lodge. Most locations on the resort are handicap accessible. There are snow limo tours (see here) as well as our Power Hounds Adaptive Ski Program (see here). The only major issues are that you cannot go from the first floor to the second floor in the Village Centre Mall (there are only staircases inside), but the second floor is accessible from the outside of the building using a snow wheelchair. Most everything else (gondola, day lodges, and Big White official hotels such as The Inn @ Big White, The White Crystal Inn, and the Chateau) are all accessible with appropriate lifts. Third party condos and hotels, however, might not be. |
