Description & Services
Service Details - Provides direct and contracted community-based mental health services to children, youth and their families on a voluntary basis 
- Offers information, consultation and support to other service providers who may be working directly with children and youth not receiving services from CYMH 
- Serves as gatekeeper for tertiary care referrals to Maples Adolescent Treatment Centre in Burnaby, and Children's Hospital in Vancouver
Hours Walk-In Intake Clinic Hours: Every Tue and Thu: 9:00am - 11:00am (no appointment needed) 
Office: Mon-Fri: 9:00am - 12:00pm and 1:00pm - 4:00pm
Eligibility Ages: 19 year(s) and under
How to Apply - General service requests do not require a referral 
- Children 6 years and older, youth and their parents/legal guardians may access service via the Walk-In Intake Clinic at the times listed below 
- Please call in referrals for children under 6 years old 
- Children and youth challenged by symptoms of Attention Deficit Disorder or by symptoms of an Eating Disorder require a doctor's referral 
- Please contact the clinic for more information or to discuss urgent, specialized, or complex referrals 
- You may also call to notify CYMH of an individual/family who may be experiencing barriers to accessing the Walk-In Intake Clinic
