Description & Services

Service Details - Community participation project composed of citizens who volunteer to become the extended eyes and ears of the police service 
- Participants patrol area, observe and report any incidents via phone to the RCMP for them to act upon
Eligibility Ages: 16 year(s) and up 
 
Potential volunteers must: 
 
- be a resident of the area 
- be at least 16 years of age 
- have a enhanced RCMP security check 
- be able to work within a structured environment 
- be able to work with other people 
- be able to commit 4 hours per month for a period of one year 
- have good writing and speaking skills 
- have no health or other problems that may impede you working in an office/community environment
