Description & Services
| Service Details | - Youth register to participate in a life-changing non-competitive program in which participants set and achieve personal goals for community service, skills, fitness, and adventure. It is a great way to explore new interests and try new challenges they might not have done otherwise, and even stretch their 'comfort zone' - Open to all young Canadians age 14-24 years - 3 levels: Bronze, ages 14 and up; Silver, ages 15 and up; and Gold, ages 16 and up - Participants log their activities towards their S.M.A.R.T goals; 6 months completing the Bronze level, and a year or more on Silver or Gold. - Awards must be completed before a participant's 25th birthday - Upon completion of an Award Level Youth in BC & Yukon receive two school credits towards their transcripts - Ceremonies are held for Silver and Gold and are one of the rare experiences of recognition for young people |
