| Service Details | - Works with, supports and encourages responsible dog ownership across the entire Regional District - Provides licenses and permanent identification for dogs - Enforces the Responsible Dog Ownership Bylaw No. 1343 - Maintains and operates the Regional Dog Pound Facility for lost or found dogs - All dog licenses in the Central Okanagan expire December 31 in every calendar year and must be renewed before February 28/29 the following year - License fees before March 1st - Fixed: $20, Not Fixed: $60 - License fees March 1st: Fixed: $40, Not Fixed: $80 - Owners of unlicensed dogs may be subject to a fine of $300 |
