Description & Services

Service Details Starbright is a registered charity and not-for-profit that supports families to meet the exceptional developmental needs of children through the following early intervention therapies and programming: 
- Infant Development Program (birth to 3 years) 
- Inclusive Childcare Program (Supported Child Development Program) 
- Occupational Therapy 
- Speech Language Therapy 
- Physical Therapy 
- Clinical Counseling available for Starbright clients 
- Board-Certified Behaviour Analyst support for Starbright clients
Hours Mon-Fri, 8:30am - 4pm
Dates Closed on statutory holidays and over Christmas break.
Eligibility Ages: 5 year(s) and under
How to Apply Anyone can refer a child to Starbright with the parent/legal guardian's consent. Referrals may come from a social worker, the preschool, the family physician, the child's pediatrician, or a PHN. The parent or legal guardian can also self-refer their child.
Cost Free ; Starbright services are at no cost to families. There is no need for a diagnosis.
Meetings Starbright services may be provided at Starbright, at the family's home, or in a community setting.

Accessibility Our buildings are accessible for families with children in strollers and wheelchairs
Languages English ; American Sign Language (ASL) - We have staff who teach ASL to children and families ; Our website has a translation feature that families can click on to use to read the information and submit a referral. For in-person therapy or programming sessions we do access interpreters should the family require it.
