| Service Details | We are a nonprofit organization that is 100% dedicated to giving back to this wonderful city. The vast majority of the profits from the items sold in our store directly fund our in-house charitable programs. We provide material support and quality self-help opportunities to promote responsible personal growth for people in need. Specifically, we provide: - Agencies serving the homeless community with material goods such as sleeping bags, blankets, coats, and other necessities. Also, low-income clients with clothing, basic household goods, and furniture free-of-charge. - Skills training program for those who would benefit from a more structured approach to learning about retail. Such as practical skills, a resume, references, opportunity for summer employment at S.H.A.R.E, and knowledge about regular workplace environments. - Providing closely monitored in-store training to help clients gain the skills that will benefit them the most when re-entering a regular work environment. Identifying barriers for clients, and support to break through those barriers. - Partnering financially stressed families, individuals with sponsors that provide holiday hampers to help share some cheer over the Christmas season. - A variety of volunteer opportunities. |
