Description & Services

Service Details - Residential client-centered, trauma-informed programming and support for women seeking recovery from substance misuse. This multi-tiered program is abstinence-based with a harm reduction model(accepting suboxone, methadone, Kadian). The multi-tiered program allows women age 19+ to move from intake/stabilization through the first stage and 2nd stage of recovery with a cohort of women into semi-independent living all within the facility with access to support for multiple years once the individual has moved back into the larger community. Support for perinatal women is included in our specialized parenting program with multiple layers of support for mother-baby dyads. The Karis program includes recovery based and personal development classes, life skills training, access to alcohol, and drug counselors, in-person trauma counseling as well as group sessions. Goal setting and personal accountability is a key aspect of the program partnered with numerous connections to community supports and wrap-around services.
