Service Details | - Provides a ‘family transition house’ which supports urban-Aboriginal families in the family reunification process by providing a safe, caring, semi-supervised housing and parenting program - Residents must be involved with the BC Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD), and are also required to be drug and alcohol free - Families are also required to be willing to work with MCFD and the Ki-Low-Na Friendship Society (KFS), to participate in KFS programs, to work actively on their MCFD requirements, and to volunteer in the community as a way of giving back |
