| Service Details | - Creates safe and secure futures, in community, for people with disabilities and their families - Prepares families to take the steps necessary for effective future planning by developing a Personal Future Plan for loved ones with disabilities - Provides assistance in developing and expanding a network of friends and supporters committed to the person with a disability (the person at the centre or focus person), contributing to their quality of life now and in the future when parents are not there through the Personal Network Program - Provides workshops and information on the Registered Disability Savings Plan (RDSP), Will, Trust, and Estate planning, home ownership and alternatives to legal guardianship - Offers Families to Families Network where families are welcome to participate in a relaxed and informal gather to discuss a variety of topics - Advocates on behalf of individuals and families |
