Service Details | Opioid Agonist Treatment (OAT) is also known as Opioid Substitution Therapy or Medication Assisted Treatment. It involves the use of prescribed medications such as Suboxone® and methadone to treat opioid addiction by decreasing withdrawal and helping with cravings. Your family physician may also be able to provide information on this service. |
