| Service Details | - Provides acute care clinical respiratory therapy support that may include but are not limited to: airway management; conduct tests to measure lung function; training in the use of special breathing equipment and/or techniques for administering prescription medication or oxygen; training to manage asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) or to quit smoking; responding to cardiopulmonary resuscitations (code blue) and traumas; and management of life support in Intensive Care Units (Adult and Neonatal) - Respiratory Therapists work as part of the healthcare team responsible for the treatment and care of adults, pediatrics and infants with a variety of cardio-respiratory illnesses and disabilities - Please visit the website or call for additional information |
