Description & Services
Service Details - Provides financial assistance to Employment Insurance or Reachback eligible applicants who want to start their own business, or purchase an existing business in which they have had no prior ownership 
- Provides income support, business skills development workshops, one-on-one mentoring and counselling
Hours Mon-Wed: 8:30 am - 4:30 pm 
Thu: 9:30 am - 4:30 pm 
Fri: 8:30 am - 4:30 pm
Eligibility - Individuals who are Employment Insurance or Reachback eligible, will require a referral from WorkBC to pursue the Self Employment Program, therefore you must contact WorkBC, meet with an Employment Counselor and attend an Self Employment Orientation Session 
- If suitable and eligible, following the Orientation Session at WorkBC, you will be referred to Community Futures to attend an 'Assess Your Business Idea Workshop'
How to Apply - Please call to book an appointment to attend an Information Session outlining funding options, the Self Employment Program and Business Bootcamp requirements in detail 
- These Information Sessions explain the guidelines and benefits of the program and other support services available
