| Service Details | - Provides qualifying low-income renters and homeowners a free energy evaluation and advice, installation of energy-saving light bulbs, water-efficient showerheads, faucet aerators, exterior door weather-stripping, hot water pipe insulation and an LED nightlight - Some homes may also qualify for an Energy Star certified fridge, insulation in walls, attics and/or crawlspaces and an Energy Star certified natural gas furnace |
| Eligibility | Must live in a detached home, a townhouse, duplex or mobile home and have an electric account from FortisBC |
| How to Apply | FortisBC electricity or Grand Forks, Summerland, Penticton or Nelson Hydro customers Complete and sign the Energy Conservation Assistance Program application form. If you rent, remember to provide the Landlord Consent Form. Include proof of income for every member of the household 18 years or older. Please black out all information on your proof of income document except for your name, income and effective date.
