Description & Services

Service Details Home and Community Care (HCC) Services support a philosophy that home, with appropriate supports, is the best place to recover from illness and injury, as well as manage chronic conditions and live out final days. Our volunteers, together with the HCC staff, play an integral role in supporting individuals at risk of losing their independence and their caregivers. Here is how to you can get involved:  
 
- Support various Interior Health programs including Adult Day Services and Public Health Clinics 
- Assist with social-recreational and therapeutic activities, client transportation, grocery shopping, and meal delivery 
- Contribute to decreasing social isolation, creating more accessible communities, supporting caregivers and increasing the quality of life for older adults and adults with acquired brain injuries living in the community.
Hours Monday to Saturday 
8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Dates Program specific.
Eligibility Ages: 14 year(s) and up 
 
Minimum commitments is three months.
