Description & Services
| Service Details | - Formerly Super Nova and Children who Witness Abuse - PEACE (Prevention, Education, Advocacy, Counselling, and Empowerment) provides both individual & group support to children aged 3 - 18 and their parents. - Offers free parent/family support, information and skill development opportunities, in group or individual sessions. - Children learn that they have the right to be safe, are not alone or responsible for the problems or changes happening in the family; learn to identify and express feelings, healthy and appropriate forms of communication, coping strategies, problem solving strategies and qualities of healthy relationships. |
