| Service Details | - Provides inspections and regulatory work related to the enforcement of specific bylaws - Enforcement Officers investigate complaints with impartiality, gather evidence according to established rules and prepare and present that evidence in court when called upon to do so - Bylaws covered include business licences, litter prohibition, noise abatement, sidewalk cafes and street vendors, sign bylaw, streets and traffic, traffic regulation, unsightly premises, and zoning regulations |
| Hours | Bylaw Enforcement Office: 7 days per week, 6:00am-12:00pm. Closed on Statutory Holidays - Calls can still go to 250-469-8686 through an answering service & then assigned to an officer on duty that day. Administrative office open Mon-Fri from 8am to 4pm. |
