| Service Details | - Provides a pool of qualified radio operators, who can provide communications during times of emergency and for events such as the Big White Car Rally and Ski to Sea - Provides operators to assist with local search and rescue operations - Maintains and refines their skills through recreational exercises - Provides classes for those wishing to obtain their Amateur Radio Licence - Installs and maintains communications equipment to serve the Central Okanagan during times of emergency |
| How to Apply | - Must have a Radio Operators Licence issued by the Federal Government - Download the application form from ocarc.ca website and submit as instructed |
| Cost | Membership - $51 per member * Family of two adults $72 * Students $21 |
| Meetings | 4th Thursday of each month starting at 19:30 hrs at Kelowna Fire Department Station 1 (2255 Enterprise Way, Kelowna) |
