Description & Services
Service Details - FREE scientific evidence-based, health education programs delivered by trained program leaders that provide information, tools and practical skills on managing chronic health conditions 
- Increases the confidence and motivation people need to better manage the challenges of living with a chronic health condition, pain, Diabetes or Arthritis/Fibromyalgia 
- Participants share in a safe and confidential environment and give and receive support from others who are experiencing similar health issues 
- Programs are highly interactive, fun and not a 'sit-and-listen' lecture format 
- Trained leaders meet with groups of 10-14 persons for 2 1/2 hours once each week for six consecutive weeks 
- Participants are provided with an accompanying resource text(s) and resource materials at no cost 
- Family members and caretakers are also welcome to attend
Hours Mon-Fri: 9:00am - 5:00pm  
Closed weekends and holidays
Eligibility Ages: 19 year(s) and up 
 
- Workshops are offered once per week over six consecutive weeks (2.5 hrs/week) 
- Registration is FREE but mandatory 
- Must register early as workshops may be cancelled if a minimum number of persons do not pre-register 
- Plan to commit to all six sessions as these are not 'drop-in' workshops
