| Service Details | - Works as a local private sponsorship group through the United Church of Canada Sponsorship Agreement Holder (SAH) office with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) to sponsor and settle refugee families. - Members of this group include the Central Okanagan United Church and Winfield United Church and community volunteers. - Other groups involved in sponsoring refugees are the Lutheran Anglican Refugee Committee, the Kelowna Gospel Fellowship, the Islamic Centre of Kelowna (Kelowna Masjid), the Mission Creek Alliance Church, St. Charles Garnier Church, St. Pius X Church, and the West Kelowna Initiative for Refugee Settlement |
