Description & Services

Service Details - Provides a community-based outreach service designed to enhance protective factors and reduce risk factors for children and youth living with FASD or a similar neurodevelopment condition  
- Focuses on working directly with the caregiver to build their capacity to provide ongoing support for their children  
- Education and consultation services for families and community partners  
- Support and liaison with school education and planning  
- Assistance with accessing community resources and services.  
- Parent Support component provides opportunities to connect in a group environment
Hours Mon-Fri: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm (Office)
Eligibility Ages: 18 year(s) and under
How to Apply - Referrals through Interior Health service providers (IHCAN) and other multi-disciplinary teams specializing in FASD Assessments, pediatricians, child psychiatrists, MCFD Guardianship social workers (for a child in care), schools and/or other service providers, with the family being aware of the referral  
- Self-referrals also accepted from families that have a child that has confirmation or is queried to be living with FASD or a similar neurodevelopmental condition
