| Service Details | - Provides an outreach community based mental health counselling service designed to support children/youth and their families to build their capacity to manage complex mental health issues that are affecting individual and family functioning - Services are delivered in collaboration with the MCFD Child and Youth Mental Health teams, Psychiatry, and other community support services identified by the family, are offered in the communities of the North, Central, and South Okanagan - Offers intensive in-home family and individual counselling to support Parent Capacity, Emotional Stability, Family Coping Strategies, Interpersonal/Life Skills, and Natural/Community Supports |
| Hours | Mon-Fri: 8:30am - 5:00pm (Office) (Services are delivered Mon - Fri, with flexible hours during the day and evening to meet the needs of families.) |
| How to Apply | - All referrals come from the clinicians at Child and Youth Mental Health (MCFD) offices in Kelowna, Penticton, and Vernon, and are for children/youth who have a CYMH clinician - Upon receipt of a referral, the family is contacted to arrange an initial meeting to discuss the program and answer any questions |
