| Service Details | - Provides immediate and confidential support in both official languages - Many Helpline staff are blind or partially sighted, and are trained to assist callers in accessing programs, make referrals to supportive services, provide information about aids and products that can make life with vision loss easier such as: magnifiers, large-print phones or talking watches; and help access the CNIB Library with resources in alternative formats like braille, audio, and described video |
