| Service Details | The Elizabeth Fry Legal Clinic provides free legal advice and representation in relation to the following legal areas: • income assistance; • disability; • tenancy issues (rentals, co-ops and shared accommodations); • limited family law • employment law (employment insurance and employment standards); • indigenous legal issues; • human rights; • small claims matters (disputes under $35,000); • Civil Resolution Tribunal matters (disputes under $5,000); • judicial reviews; and • other areas not covered by legal aid. The clinic also offers legal education presentations for the public and service providers about common legal issues and other legal topics. |
