Description & Services
| Service Details | Our members are 11-18 year olds who identify as 2SLGBTQIA+ (Two-Spirit, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, and Questioning, Intersex, Asexual, Allies and More). We provide a space where you can make lasting friendships – you might even meet your new best friend here! At this time, groups are held at our youth centre on Cadder Avenue (please call our office for the address). To find out what is happening each week, check our social media, message our facilitators via Facebook or Instagram, or contact the main office of The Bridge Youth & Family Services to be put in touch with our Manager. As a grassroots initiative supported by many organizational and community partners, Etcetera works to make Kelowna a city where 2SLGBTQIA+ youth are valued as integral to the fabric of our community tapestry. Etcetera also offers support to obtain gender-affirming items for youth who cannot afford to purchase these items on their own. |
