Description & Services
Service Details | - Dedicated to the conservation and stewardship of nature in the central part of the Okanagan Valley, with active groups interested in birding, botany, conservation, education, hiking and bicycling (in the spring, summer, and fall), and cross-country skiing and snowshoeing (in the winter) - Holds monthly meetings with informative and interesting speakers - Many members participate on local, regional, and provincial bodies whose interests reflect ours - Involved in the Christmas Bird Count, the January Sweagle (swan and eagle) Count, the Okanagan Mountain Park Critter Count, and the Kikinee Salmon Festival |
Cost | Membership ; Membership (email application) Membership year: Sep - Aug Membership dues: $35 for singles, $47 for families, and $14 for students |
Meetings | 7:00 pm on the second Tuesday of the month, September through May, Evangel Church on Gordon Drive. June meeting is a potluck dinner at a local park. No meetings in July and August. |
