Description- Volunteers will be trained as instructors for the 2017/18 school year  
- Training is 4 full days in Kelowna, followed by a mid year day in Feb-April  
- The 27 lessons are 30 minutes in length and delivered by the volunteer instructor in a Kindergarten classroom with the help of the teacher and mentor
BenefitsIt is a very rewarding experience seeing children learn caring and compassion through interacting with the volunteer instructor/mom and her 2-4 month old baby
Skills/ExperienceLove of children, availability (flexible), desire to make a difference in kindergarten children's lives, some teaching experience an asset but not necessary, a passion for encouraging empathy
