Opportunity Details
Description- Volunteers will be trained as instructors for the 2015/16 school year  
- Training is 4 full days (3 of them are around early September, 2015) in Kelowna, followed by a mid year day in Feb-April  
- The 27 lessons are 30 minutes in length and delivered by the volunteer instructor in a Kindergarten classroom with the help of the teacher and mentor
Skills/ExperienceLove of children, availability (flexible), desire to make a difference in kindergarten children's lives, some teaching experience an asset but not necessary, a passion for encouraging empathy

We are also looking for new moms with babies age 2-4 months by September/October, who are willing to be involved once a month for 9 months.
