To listen and support callers in distress. Support includes a listening, compassionate ear, crisis intervention and referrals to resources when appropriate.  
 
Training takes place 3 times a year and consists of 6 hours of home study, approximately 24 classroom hours, and 4 shifts auditing with experienced volunteers. Next training will start January, 2020.
